New research project

We would like to announce, that in December 2012 the Ceraneum Centre received another grant for a new research project: a grant of the National Science Centre (the Sonata Bis 1 program, panel HS). The project is entitled Reception of the literary output and folk culture of Slavia Orthodoxa circle in Poland – history and bibliography of the translatory production, and will be carried out by a team led by Ph.D. I. Petrov from the Department of Southern Slavic Studies, Faculty of Philology of UŁ.

LPP Erasmus in the academic year 2012-2013

Within the LLP Erasmus framework, university teachers have an opportunity for participating in the international cooperation of the university, through visiting foreign partner universities and carrying out teaching there (STA).

We are pleased to announce that the Ceraneum Centre currently has two agreements that allow such opportunities. They have been signed with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia (the Cyrillo-Methodian Research Centre) and the Istanbul University. These agreements can be accessed on the BWZ website: http://bwz.uni.lodz.pl/wyjazdy-pracownikow/wyjazdy-nauczycieli-sta as Excel spreadsheets; the contracts for Ceraneum are on the bottom of the list, numbered 516 and 517.

The First Meeting of the International Advisory Board of the Ceraneum

We are pleased to announce the first meeting of the International Advisory Board of the Ceraneum, which will take place from 29.92-02.03 2012 in Łódź.

Grand opening of the meeting will be held on 29 February 2012 at 11.30AM, in the new building of the Library of the University of Łódź on 32/38 Jan Matejko street in Łódź, in room 102.

The ceremony will be attended by, among others, the University and Library authorities, members of the International Advisory Board of the Ceraneum and the Management and staff of the Ceraneum Centre.
