In December 2015 the Ceraneum Centre, University of Łódź was invited to become a part of the International Research Network Pax Byzantino-Slava. Currently 22 research centers, institutes, academies, departments and associations from Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Polish, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland and Italy establish the Network. The main task of the Network is to support the mutual cooperation of the said institutions, intercultural exchange, and the transfer of knowledge and research results in the area of Byzantine-Slavic relations and mediaeval studies.

In December 2013 the University of Lodz, Poland and the Cyrillo-Methodian Research Centre, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia signed the basic agreement on development of cooperation in the field of the promotion of research and education. The collaboration has been established on the initiative of the Ceraneum Centre. Information on joint initiatives will be published on a regular basis.
